Orca is a tool for use when creating Windows Installer packages for software applications. Installation modules can be merged using Orca which can make life easier for people who are wanting to create installations. Orca has a database table editor which allows for full creation of database schema with tables, and data entries for those tables. This can instruct the Windows Installer how to proceed through an installation process for new software packages. There is a graphical interface which takes users through an approval process to validate final installation packages. Any validation or warnings about incorrect configuration as a Windows install package will be displayed for the user to work to correct.
